ASU awarded $8.7M grant to improve college-going outcomes
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced that Access ASU and the Be A Leader Foundation have been awarded an $8.7 million five-year grant to increase the number of Arizona students who enroll and succeed in higher education. Seminole State College GEAR UP recently visited Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) and attended a college and career fair that had over 80 college, career, technical, and military representatives present. Additionally, students were given the opportunity to tour OBU, learn more about admissions requirements, financial aid, academic opportunities, and what life as a college student entails. |
