ASU awarded $8.7M grant to improve college-going outcomes
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced that Access ASU and the Be A Leader Foundation have been awarded an $8.7 million five-year grant to increase the number of Arizona students who enroll and succeed in higher education. Putting Students on the Path to Success
USU STARS! GEAR UP was recently featured for the work they have done at Utah State University. Supporting over 13,000 students across Utah, they reported that over 90% of their students were active participants in GEAR UP activities. Seminole State College GEAR UP recently visited Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) and attended a college and career fair that had over 80 college, career, technical, and military representatives present. Additionally, students were given the opportunity to tour OBU, learn more about admissions requirements, financial aid, academic opportunities, and what life as a college student entails. |
