As we alluded to the recent digest, we wanted to follow up with an update on the markup on federal education funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2018.
Yesterday, the House Labor-HHS-Education appropriations subcommittee passed their FY 2018 spending bill, which includes a $10 million increase for GEAR UP. The bill is expected to be voted on by the full House appropriations committee next week, then will be taken up by the full House of Representatives at a much later date. The Senate has not…
