High schoolers have fun gearing up at camp

Louisiana GEAR UP students spent the summer at Grambling State University preparing for the ACT and learning all that goes in to engineering drones. Students found out that preparing for college can be fun, which has inspired them to do well on the ACT. One student declared, “I'm gone make a 36” when asked about their ACT aspirations. Louisiana GEAR UP summer programs are being held at institutions across the state throughout the summer.
