We need your help to celebrate our GEAR UP community at this summer’s NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference! The GEAR UP Leadership Awards are an opportunity to recognize those who go above and beyond in their service.  

We want to acknowledge family leaders, student leaders, and GEAR UP professionals. Take the time to nominate your GEAR UP hero! 

It’s no secret that science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) is a hot topic in education. Join us to connect with other GEAR UP professionals to discuss how you’re implementing STEM activities and share your favorite STEM-related resources.  Come ready to participate! Open Labs bring together the GEAR UP community for informal discussions and networking.

GEAR UP directors, superintendents, and other senior-level leaders are invited to join NCCEP’s District Leadership Institute.  

Over the course of 10 months, leaders will engage through in-person trainings, virtual calls, and webinars while they explore strategies to better serve students, schools, and districts. Each July at the NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference, we celebrate the GEAR UP leaders who go above and beyond – family leaders, student leaders, and fellow GEAR UP professionals. This week’s Tools and Research You Can Use features a study recently completed by New York GEAR UP (NYGEARUP) entitled, Graduates of GEAR UP in Post-Secondary Education Give High Marks to their College Preparation Experience.
