Our yearly February event, the Capacity-Building Workshop, has gone fully virtual and we are redesigning it to better meet the needs of our GEAR UP community.
To do this, we need your help! Take a few minutes to check out our process and provide your input.
Last November, Alex Chough shared with directors that the NCCEP/GEAR UP Capacity-Building Workshop will continue to be virtual to maintain quality professional development at an affordable price. This week’s Tools and Research You Can Use features a study recently completed by New York GEAR UP (NYGEARUP) entitled, Graduates of GEAR UP in Post-Secondary Education Give High Marks to their College Preparation Experience. In 2022, New York State administered a follow-up survey to a sample of NYGEAR UP students who had graduated from high school the previous year.
