I don’t know about y’all, but I am so excited for the 2021 NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference. Not just because we have amazing sessions for you to gain ideas, strategies, and tools to better serve your GEAR UP students. And not just because of our one-of-a-kind social engagement sessions like Zumba Party and Meet the GEAR UP Pets. But also, because…drumroll please…NCCEP’s Career & College Clubs (CCC) has an exhibitor booth!

Now, I know what you are thinking. “Pappas, why are you so excited about that? I don’t get it.” Well, let me tell you. This will be the first time NCCEP’s CCC has a booth dedicated solely to this robust curriculum that focuses on student leadership, mentorship, and college and career readiness. I’ll be sharing why this program is gaining traction amongst GEAR UP grants nationwide. Come visit me at the CCC booth to learn more about the curriculum bolstered by the ACT® Holistic Framework™, get some sample activities, ask questions, or even just to say hi.

But the Exhibit Hall isn’t just about CCC! While you’re there, you’ll see a total of 36 exhibitors who are also excited to share what they offer for GEAR UP programs.
