Waipahu alum creates STEM summer camp for students to build muscle-powered robots
Waipahu High School GEAR UP students, part of University of Hawaii at Manoa GEAR UP partnership grant, spent part of their summer designing and building remote control cars controlled by neuromuscular activity in their biceps. That’s right, these “muscle” cars respond to human muscle using electrodes.
