'STEM Squad' Aims to Inspire Students to Learn

The STEM Squad visited Northeastern Illinois University for a day of STEM activities with GEAR UP students. Students were given an opportunity to learn and understand coding, which would not have been possible without the partnership of Chicago GEAR UP and the STEM Squad. One student summed up what they learned from the experience: “Every time [the car] would go through the course, I learned more and more information, and I learned how to overcome those different obstacles.” View the NBC Chicago video they were featured in here.
