Louisiana Tech hosts hands-on physics minicamp

Louisiana GEAR UP students recently participated in a physics themed, interactive workshop that exposed them to physics programs at Louisiana Tech University. In the workshop, students participated in a series of hands-on activities involving electromagnetism and aerodynamics lead by Louisiana Tech University professors, instructors and current students. “Students were actively engaged in the hands-on learning process and having fun while learning about electromagnets and the science behind airplanes and flying,” said Diane Madden, Associate Director of SciTEC. “This was a great group of students and we look forward to working with them on other projects.”
