Fitchburg high students GEAR UP

GEAR UP Fitchburg (MA) celebrated National GEAR UP Week in style with social media challenges, a field trip to a college fair at Mount Wachusett Community College, and events for parents and alumni of GEAR UP. 

High school juniors and seniors attended an assembly which featured Fitchburg mayor Stephen DiNatale, GEAR UP Fitchburg Assistant Director Victor Rojas and a keynote speech from GEAR UP counselor Theo Demosthenes. This high energy event was designed to empower students and prepare them for post-secondary education success.
