Mobile Tech Lab brings hands-on STEM education to Rochester high schools
Earlier this month, Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) Women in Computing organization and AT&T began a multi-week STEM workshop program focused on coding, app development, and other computing technologies. These workshops will be taught throughout the spring semester by college students from RIT at Douglass High School, Edison Career and Technology High School, and James Monroe High School. Their goal is to expose students to the diversity of the technology career field, opening up career pathways for students. Support from RIT GEAR UP made these workshops possible.
